Serum lipoproteins after treatment with verapamil for 6 months.

O Faergeman, H Meinertz, J F Hansen.

Abstract

Fasting levels of serum lipids and lipoproteins were measured in survivors of acute myocardial infarction after 6 months of treatment with placebo (n = 19) or verapamil 360 mg daily (n = 13). There were no significant differences between the groups and values had not changed in the verapamil group 2 weeks after cessation of treatment.
