Abstract
Of 21 schizophrenic adolescents given thiothixene or thioridazine, many responded poorly or experienced sedation. Because sedation necessitates dose reductions, which limit therapeutic response, for schizophrenic adolescents high-potency neuroleptics may be preferable to the more sedating low-potency drugs.Entities:
