Pulmonary edema in mice infected with Plasmodium berghei. Involvement of catecholamines.

Abstract

Mice inoculated with Plasmodium berghei developed a drastic and significant pulmonary edema. Treatment of animals with phenoxybenzamine rendered mice hyporeactive to this physiopathological alteration.
