Abstract
Total cholesterol, phospholipids, and triglycerides in serum were studied during myocardial infarction in a patient group treated with glucose, insulin and potassium (GIK), and a conventionally treated group. There was no difference in the typical changes of cholesterol and phospholipids between the groups, but the GIK-treated group had a late rise in triglycerides.Entities:
