Abstract
The cell biology and in vitro activity of neutral proteinases derived from inflammatory cells and the mechanisms by which these enzymes might injure connective tissue are outlined. Current work directed toward understanding local control of tissue degradation may lead to effective strategies for assessing and reducing connective tissue injury in human disease.Entities:
