Abstract
Pregnancy complicated by diabetes has many risks to the mother and her infant. Tight glycemic control and close fetal surveillance have helped to reduce the incidence of neonatal complications. The nurse as a member of the interdisciplinary perinatal team is in a key position to provide continuity of care and supportive attention to the patient and her family.Entities:
