Abstract
A patient with an acute onset of the Brown-Séquard syndrome, in whom the etiology was a painless thoracic epidural empyema, is discussed. The case is a unique presentation for spinal epidural empyema and presents a rare extramedullary cause of the Brown-Séquard syndrome. Pertinent literature for spinal epidural empyema is reviewed.Entities:
