Salmonella enteritidis: testicular abscess in a newborn.

Abstract

Testicular abscess due to Salmonella enteritidis in a 1-month-old newborn is described. Surgical débridement and drainage, combined with antibiotic therapy, were curative and salvaged testicular tissue.
