Abstract
Disseminated mucormycosis, presenting with a cutaneous lesion, developed in a 20-year-old woman following bone marrow transplantation. The infecting organism was identified as Rhizopus rhizopodiformis. Despite early diagnosis and therapy with amphotericin B, the patient died.Entities:
