Abstract
Contamination of tap water by Mycobacterium kansasii in an hospital is described. This contamination was responsible for an increased frequency of M. kansasii isolates from gastric washings. The hygiene measures taken to eliminate the mycobacteria from the water distribution system in the hospital are reported.Entities:
