Abstract
The results of the experiments are described, in which an attempt was undertaken to substantiate a new, not being studied earlier, mode of hypothalamic regulation of the pancreatic endocrine function by the vagal system. Additional experimental data are presented, elucidating the structural origin of the previously described hypothalamic-vagal nervous impulses. According to the data obtained it is concluded that the nervous regulation of the pancreatic endocrine function may be realized by the hypothalamic-vagal system, arising from the hypothalamic paraventricular nuclei and finishing in the medulla on the vagal dorsal nuclei after partial crossing of the hypothalamic fibers in the brain lower stem.Entities:
