Abstract
A case of histiocytic lymphoma primarily involving the tongue in a 71-year-old black man is presented. The authors discuss the diagnostic problems in differentiation of such lesions from other small-cell tumors, primary or secondary, that might involve the tongue. Electron microscopic studies were utilized to confirm the diagnosis of histiocytic lymphoma.Entities:
