Abstract
A review of topical glucocorticosteroids is presented. Included is a discussion of the pharmacology of modern hydrocortisone derivatives and their vehicles, mechanisms of action with respect to skin and host inflammatory response and potential side effects of treatment. Guidelines for therapy and selection of appropriate therapeutic agents are also given.Entities:
