Abstract
An analysis of the suicide rates of successive birth cohorts in the USA indicated that male birth cohorts were characterized by a given suicide rate (low, average or high) throughout their life. In contrast, female birth cohorts varied during their life, with those having a higher suicide rate early in their life having a lower one twenty years later, and vice-versa.Mesh:
