Abstract
A 56-year-old immunocompromised man had an acute decrease in vision that led to the detection of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans endocarditis complicated by septic emboli to his eye and other organs. This case demonstrates that bacterial sepsis can mimic a fungal infection. To our knowledge, this is the first report of endophthalmitis resulting from infection with A actinomycetemcomitans.Entities:
