Abstract
A patient is described who developed severe retrosternal pain and dysphagia immediately after sclerotherapy of esophageal varices. Extensive submucosal bleeding of the esophageal wall was demonstrated radiologically and endoscopically. This lesion resolved within 2 weeks of conservative treatment.Entities:
