Abstract
Timolol is now widely used in the treatment of glaucoma but its mechanism of action is unclear. The drug decreases aqueous humor formation by the ciliary processes and is a potent beta-adrenergic antagonist. However, the physiological basis for such a drug to decrease intraocular pressure has not been clearly demonstrated.Entities:
