Abstract
Chrysotile fibers promoted the fusion of human erythrocyte membranes and the hemolysis and fusion of fowl erythrocytes. Amosite and glass fibers did not show the same effect. These findings provide a model for the internalization of the fibers by animal cells.Entities:
