Close association of erythrocytes with surface of late mouse blastocysts: SEM analysis.

Abstract

SEM analysis of preimplantation mouse blastocysts reveals closely associated red blood cells on involuted surfaces of trophoblasts, and indication of the capability for initial phases of phagocytosis at an early developmental stage.
