Abstract
Quantitative parameters of the discharge patterns of burst-type units and single-spike units were increased, decreased or unchanged after application of morphine. The results were the same when morphine was added in the presence of naloxone. The results suggest that morphine had no consistent effect on the spike discharge of continuously active neurons in Auerbach's plexus of cat small intestine.Entities:
