The role of intraoperative ultrasound in neurosurgery.

Abstract

High resolution real time intraoperative ultrasound was used in a number of cases to identify, localize, and characterize intracranial abnormalities. Five case reports illustrate the advantage of this technique during neurosurgical operative procedures.
