Abstract
Four dogs with blastomycosis were treated with ketoconazole, and good results were obtained in 3 of the 4 cases. Dogs that responded to treatment had manifested a variety of the clinical forms of blastomycosis (osseous, pulmonary, lymphatic, and ocular), and all lesions in the dogs abated. There were no clinical signs or clinicopathologic evidence of adverse drug reaction or toxicosis. The results of the study suggested that ketoconazole is effective for the treatment of canine blastomycosis.Entities:
