Influence of pH on ketoconazole activity against Candida parapsilosis and Candida albicans.

Abstract

Experiments involving viable count determinations during incubation of yeasts in a synthetic liquid medium showed that ketoconazole was significantly more active at pH 7.0 than it was at pH 5.5 against strains of Candida parapsilosis and Candida albicans.
