Abstract
Laboratory tests were conducted to determine the prophylactic effectiveness of 4-chloro-3, 5-xylenol (Dettol) against mammalian schistosomiasis. The findings showed that this antiseptic was capable of protecting the albino mice against Mansonian schistosomiasis and of acting as an effective miracidicide, cercaricide and molluscicide.Entities:
