Abstract
This paper reviews, with particular reference to Opisthorchis viverrini, the evidence that opisthorchiasis and clonorchiasis are aetiological factors in the causation of human bile-duct cancer, especially cholangiocarcinoma, and considers the other aetiological factors which may be operating. The epidemiology, pathology in man and experimental animals, and histogenesis of cholangiocarcinoma associated wtih liver-fluke infection are also considered.Entities:
