Primary malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the aorta.

Abstract

A rare case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the aorta is reported. Review of the literature revealed that primary tumors of the aorta are exclusively mesenchymal tumors that almost invariably pursue a fatal course.
