Adenocarcinoma of the liver. Association with congenital hepatic fibrosis and Caroli's disease.

K T Chen.

Abstract

A unique case of the combination of adenocarcinoma, congenital hepatic fibrosis, and Caroli's disease in the liver of a 72-year-old man is reported and the literature reviewed. There is no convincing evidence to conclude that the association of congenital hepatic fibrosis and/or Caroli's disease with hepatic carcinomas is more than a chance occurrence.
