Abstract
A patient with severe pneumonitis due to adenovirus type 21 responded to oxygen delivered by continuous positive airway pressure through a face mask. Pulmonary function studies over ten months demonstrated resolving, restrictive lung disease. The prognosis of severe adenovirus pneumonia may be better than expected based on previous reports.Entities:
