Contouring the neck in rhytidectomy by lipectomy and a muscle sling.

B F Connell.

Abstract

Accurate diagnosis of the cause of the objectionable contour problems is necessary for the execution of appropriate and adequate surgical technique for correction. For improving neck contour, I use an adequate lipectomy combined with deep support provided by a sling made from full-width platysma muscle flaps.
