Abstract
The sodium activation of heart (Na+ + K+)-ATPase has been studied in a microsomal fraction prepared from hearts of normotensive and spontaneously hypertensive Wistar rats. The results show that the apparent affinity of the transport enzyme for sodium was lower in hypertensive than in normotensive rats.Entities:
