Parainfluenza virus isolation enhancement utilizing a portable cell culture system in the field.

Abstract

Using a portable minaturized cell culture system, enhanced recoveries of parainfluenza virus types 1 and 3 were made in the field from symptomatic human adult subjects working at remote Antarctic stations.
