Abstract
The clinical features of prolapsed intervertebral disc and facet joint pain are described and the condition referred to as "acute locked facet joint syndrome" is differentiated. Treatment by manipulation, with and without epidural or general anesthesia are considered, and a clinical trial of manipulation under local periarticular anesthesia is proposed.Entities:
