Abstract
A study was done to determine the frequency of common dermatoses seen in private dermatology practices composed of predominantly black patients. This was then compared to similar previous studies. New trends in common dermatoses in private black patients were found. The most common dermatosis noted was acne vulgaris, followed by eczema, pigmentary disorders, seborrheic dermatitis, and alopecias.Entities:
