Abstract
Scabies and pediculosis pubis are ectoparasitic infestations often transmitted by sexual contact. The distinctive clinical features that characterize these infestations are described, along with laboratory diagnosis. Entomologic, epidemiologic, and pathogenetic essentials are also considered, and safe and effective methods of treatment are presented for the clinician.Entities:
