A new microdrive for extracellular recording of single neurons using fine wires.

J X Zhang, R M Harper.

Abstract

We have developed a new microdrive for fine-wire electrode recording of extracellular neuronal potentials. The new microdrive has advantages of durability of construction as well as enhanced precision and stability of electrode movement, and can be easily assembled with common laboratory tools.
