Massive pulmonary hemorrhage: surgical approach as choice of treatment.

S Sehhat, M Oreizie, K Moinedine.

Abstract

Massive pulmonary hemorrhage is still a life-threatening problem with high mortality. The surgical versus medical approach to this condition was compared in 146 patients who were treated over a ten-year period. Our evidence shows that early operation is the only choice of treatment.
