Intraventricular haemorrhage, CT and arteriographic findings in thirty-five patients.

D F Cohn, E Avrahami.

Abstract

Thirty-five patients with intraventricular haemorrhage shown by CT underwent cerebral arteriography. In 15 patients arteriography showed an occlusion of a carotid or middle cerebral artery. Secondary bleeding into an infarction caused the intraventricular haemorrhage. All 15 patients were aged over 40 years.
