Spectrographic determination of zinc in the tissues of adenoma and carcinoma of the prostate.

Abstract

The authors describe a spectrographic method for the determination of zinc in solid matter. This method may be used to determine semiquantitatively the zinc-content of prostatic tissue. It has been found by this method that the ash from neoplastic prostatic tissue contained less zinc than that from adenomatous prostatic tissue.
