Abstract
A new method to study and permanently record function and structure in the living eye became available with the introduction of fluorescein angiography by Novotny and Alvis (1961). Flow and permeability in the retinal and choroidal vessels could now be correlated with anatomical changes. This presentation will review some of the major advances in our knowledge resulting from this technique.Entities:
