Abstract
Ethionine, a hepatocarcinogen, ethylates macromolecules in vivo especially tRNA of rat liver. When rats were injected with L-[ethyl-3H]ethionine, the tRNA fraction of the liver was found to be labeled. One tRNA with the highest specific activity was purified and identified as lysine-tRNA2.Entities:
