Abstract
Renal lesions observed in 50 cases of chronic leprosy are reported. They include membranous and membranoproliferative glomerular lesions and amyloidosis forming one type possibly resulting from immune complexes. They also include lesions like chronic interstitial nephritis resulting from opportunistic secondary infections and/or drug toxicity. The evaluation of these lesions is discussed and appropriate remedial measures are suggested in the management of leprosy.Entities:
