Abstract
In several strains of human fibroblasts, treatment with human alpha- or beta-interferon (IFN) resulted in an induction of 2', 5'-oligoadenylate synthetase but no protein kinase activity. The antiviral and anticellular effects of IFN are elicited in these cells in the absence of detectable IFN-induced protein kinase activity.Entities:
