Abstract
A rapid method of preparation of rat brain mitochondria was described. Oxidative phosphorylation of isolated brain mitochondria was decreased by thyroidectomy. RNA polymerase activity of isolated nuclei was also reduced. Therefore hypothyroidism affects brain subcellular particles as in other tissues.Entities:
