Intracranial dermoid tumor: diagnosis by computed tomography. A case report.

Abstract

Computed tomography (CT) of an intracranial dermoid tumor in a 43-year-old woman demonstrated a central soft tissue density (hair) in a low density (fat) cavity with a partially calcified wall. There was no contrast enhancement of the tumor. The CT findings were the most conclusive in the diagnosis and were helpful in the management of the patient.
