Macular edema after scatter laser photocoagulation for proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

S M Meyers.

Abstract

Fluorescein angiography showed perifoveal capillary leakage in three cases of macular edema after scatter laser photocoagulation for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. The scatter laser photocoagulation in these cases may have been an important factor inthe pathogenesis of macular edema.
