Tubeless hypotonic examination of the afferent loop of the Billroth II stomach.

J O Op den Orth.

Abstract

In 39 out of 50 consecutive radiologic examinations in 48 pateints with a Billroth II gastroenterostomy, excellent hypotonic images of the afferent loop were obtained after an intravenous injection of 1-2 mg of glucagon. In six examinations the results could be classified as satisfactory; in five as unsatisfactory.
