Abstract
Cerebrospinal fluid was analyzed from 8 patients with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. No special abnormalities were found concerning cells, total protein content or the concentrations of albumin and IgG. Routine agar gel electrophoresis was normal. Grey and white cerebral matter were analyzed from 1 patient. The total protein content was reduced in grey matter and on isoelectric focusing a distinct band at pH 8.8 was absent.Entities:
