Abstract
Research on VIP continues at a rapid pace. Recent progress includes: insights into its biosynthesis (and that of a closely related PHI-like peptide) and its neuronal localization, discovery of novel biological actions, new data on its release and binding to specific receptors, and additional evidence for its roles in physiological regulation and in the pathogenesis of disease.Entities:
