Abstract
The interrelationships of restorative/prosthetic problems involving the physiologic gingival attachment have been reviewed. Specific problems that may occur include subgingival caries, crown fracture, inadequate crown length, pin perforation, and exostosis. Periodontal surgery is recommended for some of these problems to assure acceptable periodontal health to support the restorative therapy and provide a long-term prognosis.Entities:
