High fucosyl transferase activity in human seminal plasma.

G Ronquist, B Stegmayr.

Abstract

High fucosyl transferase activity was recorded in human seminal plasma whether spermatozoa were present or not. This activity exceeded that of sialyl transferase by a factor of 111. The corresponding factor for blood serum incubated under identical conditions was 0.60-0.90.
